Precautions for the use of carbide inserts
Cemented Carbide Inserts are made of cemented carbide, which is an alloy material made of hard compound of refractory metal and bonding metal through powder metallurgy process.
Cemented carbide has a series of excellent properties such as high hardness, wear resistance, good strength and toughness, heat resistance and corrosion resistance, especially its high hardness and wear resistance, which remain basically unchanged even at a temperature of 500 °C , still has high hardness at 1000℃.
Precautions for the use of carbide inserts:
The characteristics of the cemented carbide material itself determine the importance of the safe operation of the cemented carbide foot cutting machine blade. Before installing the blade, please take protective measures to avoid the unnecessary loss of personal and property safety caused by the blade falling and hurting people.
1. Listen to the sound inspection: When installing the blade, please use the right index finger to carefully lift the blade and make the blade hang in the air, then tap the blade body with a wooden hammer, and listen to the sound from the blade body, such as the blade that emits a dull sound. It proves that the cutter body is often damaged by external force, and there are cracks and damages. Use of such blades should be banned immediately. The use of a chipper blade that emits a dull sound is prohibited!
2. Blade installation: Before installing the blade, please carefully clean the dust, chips and other debris on the rotating bearing installation surface of the foot cutter, and keep the bearing installation surface and the foot cutter clean.
2.1. Place the blade on the mounting surface of the bearing carefully and steadily, and turn the bearing of the foot cutter by hand to automatically align it with the center of the blade.
2.2. Install the pressing block on the blade of the foot cutter and align the bolt hole with the bolt hole on the foot cutter bearing.
2.3. Install the hexagon socket head bolt, and use the hexagon socket wrench to tighten the screw to firmly install the blade on the bearing.
2.4. After the blade is installed, there should be no looseness and deflection.
3. Safety protection: After the blade is installed, the safety guard and other protective devices on the foot cutting machine must be installed in place and play a real protective role before starting the foot cutting machine (safety baffles should be provided around the blade studio on the foot cutting machine , steel plate, rubber and other protective layers).
4. Running speed: The working speed of the cutting machine should be limited to less than 4500 rpm. It is strictly forbidden to run the foot cutting machine over the speed limit!
5. Test machine: After the blade is installed, run it empty for 5 minutes, and carefully observe the operation of the foot cutting machine. It is absolutely not allowed to have obvious loosening, vibration and other abnormal sounds (such as the bearing of the foot cutting machine has obvious Axial and end face runout) phenomenon exists. If any abnormal phenomenon occurs, stop the machine immediately and ask professional maintenance personnel to check the cause of the fault, and then use it after confirming that the fault is completely eliminated.
6. During the cutting process, please push the circuit board to be cut at a constant speed, and do not push the circuit board too quickly and rapidly. When the circuit board and the blade collide violently, the blade will be damaged (collision, cracking), and even serious safety accidents will occur.
7. Blade storage method: It is strictly forbidden to use electric engraving pen or other scratching methods to write or mark on the blade to prevent damage to the blade body. The blade of the foot cutter blade is extremely sharp, but very brittle. In order to avoid injury to personnel or accidental damage to the blade, do not touch the blade to the human body or other hard metal objects. The blades to be used should be handed over to special personnel for proper storage and storage, and must not be put aside indiscriminately to prevent the blades from being damaged or causing accidents.
8. The premise of production efficiency is also safe operation. The cutting operator must follow the relevant requirements to make the blade of the cutting machine work safely on the cutting machine.
